Our History
We are located in the region of Murcia, the leading producer of lemons in Europe. This, together with the use of the most advanced technology and the experience of our human team, allows us to process and obtain the widest range of products derived from this versatile citrus fruit.
Since our creation in 1987, Derivados Citricos, S.A. has gone through different phases, without ever losing our identity or objective of offering our clients the highest quality and business excellence.
Since then, we have experienced tremendous growth in both facilities and human resources. Our headquarters are located on 15,000 m² in the largest industrial estate in the Region of Murcia.
1987
Company Founded.
1996
Derivados Cítricos register Spanish Brand “Solimón”.
2002
Solimón is present in the majority of supermarket chains in Spain.
2008
Completion of new production & bottlingfacilities, doubling our
on-site capacity.
2009
Derivados Cítricos releases
lime-based products and registers Spanish Brand “Limasol” and the international brands “QuickLime” and “QuickLemon.” IFS certification.
2013
Internationalization Total exports overtake national sales.
2014
Completion of new office, Quailty Control / R&D Laboratory and Employee facilities.
2016
Solimón is Spain´s number one lemon juice in terms of Sales.
2017
Derivados Citricos obtains BRC certification.
2020
In line with our constant commitment to help improve the environment, we install our own Wastewater Treatment Plant.
